This is an extension cord for 1-wire sensors. It allows to lengthen a loop of a 1-wire sensor and plug 2 1-wire sensors to the same extension cord.

General usage conditions - for industrial and commercial usage in conditions of high humidity (0-95%, non-condensing). The device is not intended for domestic use.

An cable extender for a 1-wire sensor is a set of a wire with RJ12 plugs on its ends and a splitter with 3 RJ12 sockets. A wire of an extension cord is plugged into one socket of a splitter while a 1-wire sensor or another splitter can be plugged into two other sockets. Therefore, a tree structure of connecting 1-wire sensors is formed.

A wire of an extension cord consists of 6 wires, with a diameter AWG24 (0,2 mm²), which is used in telephone wiring.

Extension cords can be plugged in each other, to get a necessary length.

A maximum amount of 1-wire sensors, that is possible to plug in a NetPing server room environmental monitoring units and power distribution units, as well as a permissible length of a wire depends on a model of a device. These characteristics are indicated in its specifications.
