General usage conditions - for industrial and commercial usage in conditions of high humidity (0-95%, non-condensing). The device is not intended for domestic use.

The active extender-splitter R912R2 is designed to increase the total length of the 1-wire network of sensors for a host device. The R912R2 regenerates a signal which allows you to connect 1-wire network with a total length of up to 50 meters to each of its output ports. That can extend the total length ot the 1 wire network by 250 meters in total, without taking into account the length of the 1-wire network of the host device. If there us a limit on the maximum length of a 1-wire network of 50 meters for the majority of devices, then the R912R2 will increase it up to 300 meters.

The extender-splitter is powered from a 5V line of a host device, the current consumption is up to 25 mA.

It is strictly prohibited to cascade R912R2!

In the set with the extender-splitter there is a 10 meter connecting flat cable, with 6 wires AWG26, with R12 connectors at the ends. If you need to increase the cable length, you need to use specail 1-wire cable extensions for 2 meters, 5 meters и 10 meters. The splitter is also included in the cable extension kit, which allows you to branch the network at the cable connection points. If necessary. you can extend the sensor loops independently using a 6-wire cable not less than AWG26, you need to use a specia tool to crimp RJ12 plugs: connections must be isolated and reliable.
